Responsible Management @ GWU

October 5, 2009
Inspired by my high school teachers and the slain Archbishop Oscar Romero who said, “We who have a voice must speak
for the voiceless,” hand in hand with two friends I yelled, “Presente” as we walked towards the School of the Americas at
Fort Benning in a sign of nonviolent action against human rights atrocities in Latin America. I have always been
passionate about the plight of others, but thought of it as a call to action, not as a career.

When researching MBA programs that were a good fit, I found it at the heart of the George Washington School of Business.  The faculty, staff, students, and alumni are genuinely enthusiastic about developing the next generation of leaders (us) – to think globally, lead passionately, and act responsibly.

This blog will allow me to record my journey toward attaining the Certificate in Responsible Management.  The Certificate involves activities such as classroom, extracurricular, and service learning.

I look forward to sharing this experience with you!
